The complete blue Porsche GT3 protected with XPEL PPF

01 / WHAT IS PPF?

A transparent layer.
A valuable difference.

Paint Protection Film is a clear, flexible film applied over the paint. This extra layer helps protect against stone chips, light scratches and everyday wear.

At De Wrap Wereld, we work with XPEL. Choose a glossy finish that preserves your paint's appearance, or give your car a matte, satin-like look with XPEL STEALTH.

The protection comes from the film. Deep damage and heavy impacts can still cause harm; PPF does not make your car invulnerable.

02

Light scratches can heal

The self-healing top layer of XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS and STEALTH can make light scratches and swirls in the film disappear with the help of heat.

Your colour remains visible

04 / HOW WE APPLY IT

Care.
At every step.

A beautiful result starts with preparation and is only complete when the edges and joints are right too.

01

Clean & prepare

We carefully clean the car and prepare the areas to be protected. The condition of the paint determines the preparation required.

02

Precise application

We position the film on the body panels, paying attention to curves and joints. This allows the protection to follow the shape of your car.

06 / GOOD TO KNOW

Your questions.
Clearly answered.

Is PPF visible?

Transparent PPF is designed to keep the paint visible. Edges or seams may be visible up close, depending on the body panel and chosen finish. We discuss what to expect for your car in advance.

What is the difference between Front PPF and Full PPF?

Front PPF covers the front bumper including the black front lip, bonnet, front wings, mirrors and headlights. Full PPF covers painted panels all around, plus headlights, front lip and side skirts. The windscreen is a separate option. We agree the precise coverage for your car.

How does it differ from ceramic coating?

PPF is a physical protective film that helps against stone chips and light scratches. Ceramic coating is a thin surface treatment that helps repel water and dirt and makes maintenance easier. A coating does not replace PPF; the two can be combined.

Do all scratches heal by themselves?

No. The self-healing top layer can heal light scratches and swirls in the film with the help of heat. Deep scratches, tears and damage to the underlying paint do not heal this way.

How do I look after PPF?

Wash carefully with suitable products and remove insects and bird droppings promptly. Do not aim a pressure washer directly at film edges. For XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS and STEALTH, wait at least 48 hours after installation before washing. Also follow the instructions provided at handover.

Can the film be removed later?

Yes, PPF can be professionally removed. Paint condition, previous paintwork and the removal method matter. Have the film assessed and removed by a specialist.

How much does PPF cost for my car?

Front PPF starts at €1,700 and Full PPF at €4,900. Custom PPF is priced on request. The final price depends on your car, chosen areas, finish and preparation required. You can configure your preferences in the configurator.

What about the warranty?

XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS and STEALTH carry a ten-year manufacturer's warranty for specified material defects, such as yellowing, cracking, blistering and delamination, subject to the applicable terms. This does not cover all damage from use. We explain the coverage for your chosen product.
