04 / CRAFTSMANSHIP & TECHNOLOGY
Small points of light.
A big difference.
The stars are made of thin, flexible plastic optical fibres. These run through the headliner and connect to an LED light source. A point of light appears at the end of each fibre.
The fibres carry only light; the LED source provides the illumination. There is no need for a separate lamp at each star.

The installation follows the shape and lines of your headliner. We tailor the number of stars, layout and design to your car and the look you want.

From the first choice to the final check, the design and installation are tailored to your interior.
Your car as the starting point
We assess the headliner, roof type and available space. Together, we decide the number of stars, their layout and any lighting effects.
Every fibre in its place
The headliner is carefully removed. We install the optical fibres by hand, finish them and connect them to the LED light source.
Finished down to the details
After refitting the headliner, we check the finish and lighting. At handover, we show you how to control the colours, brightness and available effects.

Can a starlight headliner be fitted to my car?
We make starlight headliners for a wide range of cars. The shape of the headliner, available space and any sunroof determine the possibilities.
Are the stars visible during the day?
Yes, at a higher brightness setting the stars can also be visible during the day. Visibility depends partly on the amount of daylight inside your car. In the evening, you can lower the brightness.
Can I change the colour and effects later?
The app or remote lets you control colour, brightness and on/off, among other functions. The available effects depend on your chosen specification. The physical star pattern is fixed during installation.
What is the difference between twinkling and shooting stars?
Twinkling varies the brightness so the stars sparkle softly. Shooting stars create a moving trail of light across the star field. Each adds movement in its own way.
Can I have my own pattern made?
Yes. Alongside a scattered star field, we can create a constellation, logo or special figure. Together, we consider how your idea fits the size and shape of the headliner.
How do I choose the right number of stars?
It depends on the roof area and how subtle or full you want the star field to be. The 600, 1,000 and over 1,400-star options are a starting point. We advise you on a suitable layout for your car.
